Instructions

STEP 1

ADULT: Remove the cap from the top of the ornament and set aside.

STEP 2

Pour a small amount of Pure Pumpkin paint into the opening of the ornament. Roll the paint around in the ornament until the entire inside is covered. Add more paint, a little at a time, if needed.

TIP: You can cover the opening by holding a paper towel over it and lightly shake it to help distribute the paint.

STEP 3

Hold the ornament inside a trash can and lightly tap the ornament against the side to eliminate excess paint. This will be messy, so make sure to hold the ornament down in the trash can.

TIP: On a paper towel, place the ornament opening side down for a while to let additional paint drip out. The paint will remain wet for some time, unless the ornament is allowed to sit out with the top off for several days. Air needs to get into the ornament to dry it, and since the opening is so small, it will take longer.

STEP 4

Wipe off any excess paint that may have gotten on the outside of the ornament.

STEP 5

ADULT: Re-attach the cap to the ornament.

STEP 6

Draw a jack-o-lantern face on the outside of the pumpkin using the paint pen. Let dry.

STEP 7

Cut a green chenille stem in half and thread through the loop hanger on the ornament. Twist it on to secure. Wrap the ends around a pencil and slide the pencil out to make tendrils.

STEP 8

Cut a piece of ribbon, approximately 10" long, and tie onto the ornament loop. Trim ends.
